1.   FULL TUNE-UP   our most popular service          PRICE: 99.99           

 

The Full Tune-up is far and away our most popular service, providing you a great value! Other bike shops will call this a Major Tune, a Basic Tune-up, a general check over, and on and on. We call it a Full Tune-up because...well, it needs a name and that is what stuck. What matters more is what the name represents, the quality service you as the customer will receive when you schedule a Full Tune-up.

It starts with the Legacy mobile bike shop coming out to your home or office. No additional cost for us to come to you, that is part of the Full Tune-up. We then thoroughly assess your bike, finding where items are mis adjusted and parts are worn out. With the final quote approved by you, we get cranking on the work. 

Included with a Full Tune-up of your bicycle: 

• 10% instant rebate on all parts and accessories

• Wheels are removed, placed in a truing stand where they are trued and spoke tension is checked

• Hub bearings are inspected and adjusted as needed

• Cassette lockring is checked for correct tightness

• Bike is fully washed before tuning

• Tire pressure is evaluated and inflated as needed

• The bicycle frame is wiped down by hand while the mechanic inspects the frame for safety and mechanical concerns

• Front and rear brakes are inspected and adjusted as needed

• Front and rear derailleurs are inspected and adjusted as needed

• Chain and cables are evaluated and lubricated as needed

• The torque of the crank bolts and pedals are checked

• Headset bearings are evaluated and adjusted as needed

• Bottom bracket bearings are evaluated and adjusted if possible

• Stem and handlebar bolts are checked

• When purchased from Legacy Bike Shop , installation of a chain, tires, tubes, brake pads, saddle, kickstand, and pedals is included with the Full Tune-up

• As a final step, the bicycle is test ridden on the street to ensure that all aspects of the bike function correctly

2.  PRO TUNE-UP         Price : 150.00

 

Sometimes you want just a little bit more done; sometimes your bike needs some special parts or tools to make it just right. Even though not everyone will use it, we do offer the Pro Tune-up service for those special cases. 

A Pro Tune-up differers from all other Legacy Bikes service in that we don't do the work on the truck. You still receive concierge pickup service at the location and time of your choosing. Then we bring the bike back to our headquarters to accomplish the work. Guaranteed to be finished within 3 business days, we then return the tuned bike to you with the same concierge service.

3.  KIDS & SINGLE SPEED TUNE-UP      PRICE:69.99

 

From time to time we come across a bike that certainly needs a Full Tune-up, but the particular bike is just not that complicated. We started charging less for these bikes because we felt it is just the right thing to do. Now we have formalized this type of service into a Kids/Single Speed bike Tune-up. 

Multiple bike pricing still applies to this tune-up, so if you have two or more tune ups, the price for each kids bike tune drops down to $49.99. 

It starts with the Legacy Bike  Shop coming out to your home or office. No additional cost for us to come to you, that is part of the Kids/Single speed Tune-up.. We then thoroughly assess your bike, finding where items are misadjusted and parts are worn out. With the final quote approved by you, we get cranking on the work. 

Included with a Kids/Single Speed Tune-up of your bicycle: 

• 10% instant rebate on all parts and accessories

• Wheels are inspected while on the bike

• Wheel bearings are inspected and condition is noted

• Tire pressure is evaluated and inflated as needed

• The bicycle frame is inspected for safety and mechanical concerns

• Front and rear brakes are inspected and adjusted as needed

• When applicable, front and rear derailleurs are inspected and adjusted as needed

• Chain and cables are evaluated and lubricated as needed

• The torque of the crank bolts and pedals are checked

• Headset bearings are evaluated and adjusted as needed
